In his spare time, Dr. Kwok enjoys keeping fit by running and going to the gym. Dr. Kwok also likes to travel.
A highly trained pain management specialist, Dr. Kwok, M.D. brings remarkable expertise to diagnosing and treating chronic pain. Dr. Kwok offers a broad range of treatment options, from non-invasive techniques such as physical therapy and pain-relieving medications, to the newest minimally-invasive procedures. Specializing in helping patients regain their quality of life, Dr. Kwok provides the most effective techniques available today, including radiofrequency ablation, cryoanalgesia, and spinal cord stimulators. Dr. Kwok brings expertise to diagnosing and treating chronic pain.
Dr. Kwok received his Bachelor of Science Degree in 1997 from Cornell University, Ithaca, New York. He went on to study at Tufts University School of Medicine in Boston, Massachusetts where he received his Doctor of Medicine as well as his Master in Business Administration in 2001.
Dr. Kwok is Board Certified in Anesthesiology with a sub-specialty in Pain Management. He did both his internship and Anesthesiology residency at Northwestern Memorial Hospital, Northwestern University School of Medicine, in Chicago, Illinois. He also completed a residency at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Harvard Medical School, Boston, Massachusetts and then a fellowship in Pain Medicine at UCLA Pain and Spine Care, David Geffen School of Medicine in Los Angeles, California.
